Devin is finally 3! Boy have the years gone by so quick. It feels like just yesterday he was born. We had a Thomas the train birthday since that is Devin's favorite of all things. Lot's of family came to celebrate. Devin got a lot of new toys and clothes and had a blast with all of his cousins and friends. They were running around screaming all day and having a splash in the pool! We posted a new slide show of pictures from his birthday if you would like to see them. We also got to meet Greg's grandparents from Florida and cousin Jenny and her son Landon from Texas. Greg got to catch up on stories from the past and see pictures of his dad when he was his age. It is too bad everything had to happen this way but it has been exciting meeting all the new family and spending time with them and the long hours on the phone.
Well its been a few days since i was able to meet my ant on my dads side. I found out I have a brother and two sisters and two nieces. Say thats awesome dosn't really explain it. And i found out alot about my dad. Its really hard for me. I never really had a dad except for my father in law who has always been great to me and i thank him for that from the bottom of my heart.but other wise i never really had any one to look up to and call dad. Then i hear storys about my dad and i cant help but think thats the kind of person i am and i always want to be. i wish i would have been able to meet him. he died last year and my bullheadedness (if thats a word) Kept me from doing that. Most importantly he never got to meet Devin. I am happy in one sense ,and very sad in the next. If i would have known the whole story 27 yrs would have not gone by.I am not mad at my mom cause she thought she was doing the right thing but I ,me Lost out on a big part in my life and now i have a chance to make it up only hes gone. I wonder how it may have been. My dad was a very caring guy and would do what it took to solve a problem if it ment he had two jobs or had to give his last dollar to help out a complete stranger thats what he did. I( only hope i can live up to that reputation. now i have a lot of years catching up with my brother and sisters and grandma and grandpa. But i will still have a part that will always missed out, catching up with my dad. im sorry dad and i miss you and i hope i can be the dad you where and are.
Here are pictures of Greg's new family that he recently found out about. A friend of Greg's family happened to live next door to his dad's sister. We went to visit her and she showed us a lot of pictures of the family and told us about his dad and that he has two sisters, a brother, and two nieces. It's amazing how there's another Greg!! His cousin Justin looks just like him. These pictures are of his brother Chris (botto m left), sister Danielle (middle left), niece Lauren (upper left), sister Heather (upper right), niece Zoe (middle right), and his dad (bottom right). Danielle happens to live in Washington and Heather and Chris live in Florida. Looks like we need to take a vacation soon to meet them! Greg is very excited and wished he would've found them earlier so he could have at least met his dad, but he's thinking about the future and is happy that he finally foundthe other side of his family. He has been on the phone all day and night catching up on 27 years with all of them.
Hi everyone!! We decided to make a web page of our family. We recently found out that Greg has a whole other family out there! So now we have family in four other states that can all keep up with us. We plan on keeping up to date on what is going on and adding some recent pictures now and then.
I would just like to let everyone how I am doing in school.
Well I finished my first Surgical Tech Lab class with a 96.9% so I've managed to maintain a 4.0 here
Now I'm in Psychology which I think I should be exempt from cause I took it at MATC.
I don't know if I'm going to get above 95% in this class though because the test I just took, the questions I didn't feel we talked about in class and some of it I don't believe was even in the book. I'm very frustrated and mad about the whole thing because I studied A LOT this weekend, I stayed up til 2am Sunday night studying. I haven't gotten my grade back yet, but I'm afraid its not going to be good. Although I might have pulled off a B on it so hopefully I can ACE the other tests and assignments and come back. Well I'll let you know how I do.
It was nice outside this weekend so I decided to start a little garden between the garage and house (backyard) I got some Wildflower seeds that are supposedly a compilation of Butterfly attracting flowers which will hopefully work cause Jacob loves butterflies. But today, looking out the window I saw atleast 4 squirrels digging in the plot of land i spread the seeds on. grrr... I don't know what to do to keep them away from it. The neighbor feeds them whole corn cobs which is also irritating because the drag the empty cobs into our yard. Why he can't just put corn out NOT on the cob is beyond me... he's littering the whole neighborhood and then we also have an over abundance of squirrels. I've also noticed a lot of rabbits lately, which is unusual... I don't remember seeing this many. I'm afraid Ruger will chase them all the time, I think I might start taking him out on the leash cause he doesn't listen so well anymore. Anyways... about the plants. I also planted some pumpkin seeds so, we'll see if we can grow our own pumpkin by halloween, I thought Jacob might get a kick out of that.
Our Downstairs neighbor gave us a giant stuffed monkey... Jacob's sitting with it in the 1st photo and The monkey is feeding Andrew in the 2nd photo. 3rd photo= Jacob eating a cupcake from his Birthday. 4th= Shannon holding Andrew. 5th= Jacob eating at the kiddie table with Hailey (his cousin) 6th= Jacob fell asleep eating at his highchair. 7th= Andrew around 1month old 8th= Ruger Booger 9th= Jacob checking out Andrew (he does this alot and he looks at him and giggles or points to his nose and says "nose" )
Didn't have a lot of time to mess with this thats why I posted them this way.
